The new BQ-340 is a quality-engineered , high-performance on-line perfect binder for the Xerox DocuTech 6180 / 6135 and DT-135 printers. Simple and easy to operate, the BQ-340 produces professional quality perfect bound books that add extra value to your documents, manuals and books.

User Friendly Operation
All necessary applications information is input at the touch-screen, icon-based interactive LCD screen. Two-way communication between the printer and the BQ-340 provides for fully automated operation. When the BQ-340 has any error, such as cover not present, the printer is paused until the cover sheets are ready. Once the cover sheet is in position, printing and binding starts automatically.

High Quality Perfect Bound Book
The book spine is properly milled so that the hot melt glue, exclusively formulated by Horizon, deeply penetrates the spine to produce a strong, durable bind and a quality finish. The thickness of glue applied to the spine is automatically adjusted according to the thickness of the book block. Also, the nipper height can be manually adjusted to fine-tune the form of the spine edge as required.

On-Line and Off-Line Operation
The BQ-340 perfect binder can also be operated off-line, as stand alone binder. When you have an ultra short-run or extremely urgent job printed on other printers, the BQ-340 can bind those documents with a simple manual set up.

A Wide Variety of Cover Stocks
The air suction cover feeder can handle a wide variety of cover stocks including recycled, textured, coated, and dye-cut papers to provide the perfect value-added finish to your book.
